At 56 years old, Helen Hunt is looking better than ever.

The “Mad About You” star showed off her fit figure while rocking a tiny black two-piece bathing suit on the beach in Malibu on Sunday.

The actress was taking advantage of the surf after several Los Angeles beaches reopened to the public for active recreation last month following the COVID-19 lockdown.

Hunt flaunted her toned tummy as she took to the waves for some bodyboarding with a friend.

In order to maintain her fit frame, she eats well and stays active with activities like yoga, surfing and hiking.

“As a general rule, I tend to move. I don’t go to a gym ever. I don’t diet ever,” she told Healthy Living magazine in 2015. “I used to diet but sometime after the eighties, it made me miserable, but I do like to walk, run, and I do like to surf when I can just to warm it up, and I do enjoy doing yoga when I can get there. ”

She emphasized that she stays away from strict dieting.

“It’s a religion for me to never diet. I think it makes you unhappy,” she said. “It makes for unhappy things, so I just decided I would rather not have the perfect body, not have the body I want than diet. And when I dropped the idea of dieting, my body went closer to the way that I was wanting it to be. So for me, it’s never worked.”

Whatever she does now, it’s working for her.
