For years, the 26-year-old pop star has famously sworn by Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille ($240) as his signature scent, and resourceful TikTokers recently discovered an affordable dupe: the Cashmere Vanilla candle from Target’s Threshold brand, a comparative steal at just $6.99

It wasn’t long before those smitten with the singer descended in droves upon the affordable item, however, and it’s since sold out in all sizes.

Fans lucky enough to get their hands on one rejoiced on social media. “Me: Gets upset having to pay an extra charge for almond milk in my coffee. Also me: Buys an $18 candle that apparently smells like Harry Styles,” one person who purchased the four-wick version tweeted.

“I got the coveted Harry Styles candle. The smell = immaculate,” a TikTok fan raved.

But it seems plenty of Styles diehards were left out in the cold. “I kid you not when i say the whole candle isle [sic] was pretty much stocked EXCEPT THE PART WITH THE CASHMERE VANILLA. it was sold out. and i’m still big sad,” one sad Twitter user shared.

“All i wanted was to buy that fricken candle from target that smells like harry styles and it’s sold out everywhere….. i hate you all,” another lamented.

There is some good news for those wishing to bask in the glow of their idol’s apparent aroma: Threshold is currently working to restock the candles, according to TMZ. And as one fan pointed out, the brand’s Vanilla Cashmere oil diffuser ($9.99) is still available — for now, at least.
