        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Mayor of Flavortown has raised $20 million for his colleagues in the restaurant industry.</p><p>With the coronavirus still raging on, and restaurants nationwide forced to close due to stay-at-home orders, <strong>Guy Fieri</strong> has taken matters into his own hands.</p><p>During an interview <strong>with TMZ</strong>, Fieri announced that he has been able to raise money with the help of major brands such as Coke, Pepsi and many others.</p><p>In partnership with the National Restaurant Association, Fieri has issued grants &#8212; typically totaling about $500 each &#8212; to restaurants in need of money.</p><p>The National Restaurant Association <strong>posted a photo</strong> on Friday saying that an additional 100,000 recipients were being announced.</p><p>Fieri says that he has no intention of stopping the grant until the pandemic is over.</p>]]></content:encoded>
