        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, Thanksgiving will be fun&#8230;</p><p>The journalist mother of the singer Grimes appears to have lashed out at Elon Musk — the father of her new grandson — in a series of tweets.</p><p>Sandy Garossino tweeted — then deleted — criticism of the Tesla founder for “blaring [men&#8217;s rights activist] bulls&#8211;t on Twitter,” just weeks after Grimes <strong>gave birth to baby X Æ A-12</strong>.</p><p>Garossino&#8217;s comments followed Musk’s tweet on Sunday in which he encouraged his 34.3 million Twitter followers to “take the red pill&#8221; — a reference to a scene in &#8220;The Matrix,&#8221; which has become a heavily politicized meme often associated with hard-right causes, including men&#8217;s rights activism.</p><p>Garossino — a veteran columnist for Canada&#8217;s National Observer — wrote: “If your partner went through a challenging pregnancy and childbirth in the last two weeks, and you were over 16 years old, would you be blaring MRA bulls&#8211;t on Twitter right now?”</p><p>Garossino also replied to the Canadian activist and political consultant Gerald Butts, who tweeted: “Buddy has a 3 week old baby. Maybe step away from the broflakes.”</p><p>In response, Garossino wrote, “Not yet 2 weeks old.”</p><p>She also retweeted a message from the &#8220;Pivot&#8221; podcast, which suggested Musk should be arrested for attempting to re-open his Tesla factories in California. The state has recently shuttered all businesses due to the coronavirus outbreak, a move Musk called “fascist.”</p><p>“Red pill” references a scene in the 1999 film in which Keanu Reeves’ character Neo is offered a choice between learning the truth about the Matrix (“the red pill”) or continuing to exist in blissful ignorance (“the blue pill”).</p><p>&#8220;The Matrix&#8221; director Lilly Wachowski also condemned Musk for his “red pill” tweet.</p><p>After Musk’s tweet was endorsed by President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, Wachowski tweeted at the pair: “F&#8211;k both of you.&#8221;</p><p><strong>As The Post reported</strong> this weekend, Musk and Grimes — who <strong>had a Twitter spat</strong> over their son&#8217;s name after his birth — are both as &#8220;cuckoo&#8221; as each other.</p>]]></content:encoded>
