Tomlinson agreed to terms with the Giants, The Post confirmed on Saturday, and shared a photo of himself signing the contract on social media. Like all free-agent deals during the NFL’s coronavirus shutdown, it is pending a physical.

Tomlinson, 27, entered the NFL undrafted in 2015 and spent the majority of his career with the Jets. He totaled 16 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown in 36 games over three seasons (2016-18).

Cut by the Jets just before last season began, Tomlinson’s odyssey began with a waivers claim by the Giants to replace the injured Scott Simonson. Tomlinson spent three weeks with the team, but did not appear in a game before his release.

From there, he spent time with the Patriots and Raiders. Through it all, he had one catch for one yard, but mostly was used as a blocker and special-teams contributor in eight games.

Following the retirement of Rhett Ellison, the Giants’ tight end depth chart looks like this: Starter Evan Engram is sidelined until training camp after foot surgery, newly signed free agent Levine Toilolo took Ellison’s spot as a block-first veteran backup, and Garrett Dickerson, Kaden Smith and C.J. Conrad each have two or fewer years of NFL experience.

Smith made 31 catches for 268 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie last season.
