“It was a very emotional virtual party… It was a celebration of her making history as the first African American woman to host a primetime cable show. She was on with her husband Jason, and she cried,” a guest said.

Also there were Al Sharpton, Angela Rye, April Ryan, Tamron Hall, Yvette Nicole Brown, Erika Alexander, Jacque Reid, Chris Witherspoon and Jonathan Capehart.

Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden were Reid’s guests on the show’s Monday debut.
