From Friday through June 21, all nine episodes of the hit HBO series won’t cost you a pretty penny, according to the Wrap, and will be available to stream for free on HBO.com.

The HBO series — based on the acclaimed and highly influential graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons — stars a group of superheroes grappling with topical issues such as race and the role of law enforcement in American society.

This is especially relevant given the global wave of protests surrounding George Floyd’s death and a call to defund the police force in multiple cities across the United States.

The series — released in October 2019 and helmed by Damon Lindelof — has been praised by fans and critics alike, currently holding an 85 out of 100 score on Metacritic.com.

Other series streaming at no cost in honor of Juneteenth — a holiday celebrating the freeing of the last US slaves, which was recently declared an official holiday — include “Being Serena,” “Bessie,” “Whoopi Goldberg presents Moms Mabley” and “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks,” among others.
