Authorities responded to a 911 call from a gas station at approximately 10:15 p.m. local time Sunday from a woman who identified herself as Gray’s wife.

She claimed she had been assaulted by Gray in their home, alleging that he had strangled her to the point that she temporarily lost consciousness, according to the press release.

Gray, 26, refused to talk to authorities when they arrived on the scene, so Goodyear SWAT and Crisis Negotiations were called out to assist.

He was taken into custody without incident just after 7:00 a.m. Monday.

She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released. Gray was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on domestic violence charges.

Gray portrayed Hakeem Lyon on the hit Fox show.

A rep for Gray didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
