The Tesla honcho, 49, posted a sweet photo of himself cradling baby X Æ A-Xii on Monday, which was inexplicably accompanied by a caption in German.

“Das baby kann noch keinen löffel benutzen,” Musk wrote, which translates to “The baby cannot use a spoon yet.”

Musk and singer Grimes welcomed the infant with the unusual moniker on May 4 and was originally named X Æ A-12.

As for the meaning behind his name, the “Oblivion” singer, 32, explained on Twitter that X is the “unknown variable,” the Æ symbol is the “elven spelling for A.I.” and A-12 represents the classification for the CIA aircraft known as Archangel. But the creative parents were forced to rejigger the spelling to comply with California state law.

Before becoming involved with Grimes, Musk dated actress Amber Heard and now finds himself co-starring in the contentious libel case Johnny Depp has launched in London.

Depp’s camp have accused the “Aquaman” star of having an affair with Musk while she was married to the actor. Musk has denied the claim.
