Pop superstar Dua Lipa took to Instagram Thursday to show off her brand-new pink dye job, achieved at home in quarantine with a little help from her boyfriend Anwar Hadid.

“This weeks experiment… pink hair,” the 24-year-old “Physical” singer captioned a gallery of images and videos that showed off her colorful two-toned ‘do. In one selfie, 20-year-old Hadid can be glimpsed applying dye to his girlfriend’s strands; in another, Lipa displays the results while wearing a sports bra and bike shorts.

“BLESSED 💫,” celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin commented, while another friend of the musician’s wrote, “Anwar is our new hairdresser.”

Lipa’s love of dramatic dye jobs hasn’t always ended well in the past; in March, she shared that her new “bangs” were actually the result of breakage from frequent bleaching.

Still, the “Future Nostalgia” hitmaker is far from the only star to switch up her look while holed up at home; Hilary Duff, Taraji P. Henson and Elle Fanning have all similarly opted for not-found-in-nature hair hues to add some quarantine cheer.
