Over the weekend, Paper magazine posted pics of the “Alvin and the Chipmunks” star accompanied by the caption: “Might get fired for this but. F..k it. Justin Long appreciation post.”

Comments by Celebs noticed that Drew Barrymore — who dated the actor on-and-off from 2007 to 2010 — sweetly commented on the Paper post, “Your not wrong! He’s great!”

And the sweet vibes didn’t end there. After seeing her comment, Long jokingly responded, “ah, what do YOU know?!”

The couple co-starred in two films, “He’s Just Not That Into You” and “Going the Distance.”

After they split, Long, 41,  went on to date “Mamma Mia” actress Amanda Seyfried. Barrymore would go on to marry art consultant Will Kopelman in 2012, but the couple divorced in 2016. They share two daughters, Olive and Frankie.

Barrymore and Long have apparently stayed pals. The two were spotted together at the Lowell Hotel in New York City in 2018.

The “Charlie’s Angels” actress told People in 2009 that she’s stayed friends with her exes. “Just because the ‘in love’ doesn’t work doesn’t mean the love goes away,” she said.
