        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Drake and The Weeknd made generous donations to organizations fighting for racial equality and against injustice toward the black community.</p><p>On Monday, songwriter Mustafa Ahmed, also known as Mustafa the Poet, <strong>shared on Instagram</strong>&nbsp;that he personally donated $400 to the <strong>National Bail Out</strong> fund, an organization that helps free those arrested while protesting the death of George Floyd.</p><p>He then called upon his &#8220;Toronto Kings&#8221; — Drake and The Weeknd — to match his donation, but asked them to &#8220;add 3 zeroes.&#8221;</p><p>Drake, 33, reposted the call-out on his Instagram Stories and said, &#8220;Say less brother.&#8221; The &#8220;God&#8217;s Plan&#8221; rapper then shared a receipt that showed he donated $100,000 to National Bail Out.</p><p>The Weeknd, 30, also accepted the request, and gave additional donations to two other organizations.</p><p>The &#8220;Blinding Lights&#8221; singer showed a receipt for $100,000 to the National Bail Out fund, and donated an additional $200,000 to the <strong>Black Lives Matter Global Network</strong>.</p><p>The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, also gave $200,000 to Colin Kaepernick&#8217;s <strong>Know Your Rights Camp</strong>, for a total of $500,000 in donations.</p><p>&#8220;Keep supporting our brothers and sisters out there risking everything to push for actual change for our black lives,&#8221; he <strong>captioned pictures of the receipts on Instagram</strong>. &#8220;Urging everyone with big pockets to give and give big and if you have less please give what you can even if it&#8217;s a small amount.&#8221;</p>]]></content:encoded>
