        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dr. Anthony Fauci gave high marks to Brad Pitt for his portrayal of the infectious disease expert on <strong>“Saturday Night Live At Home,”</strong> according to a report.</p><p>“I think he did great. I’m a great fan of Brad Pitt, and that’s the reason why when people ask me who I would like to play me, I mention Brad Pitt,” Fauci told Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Dia” on Monday, <strong>Variety reported</strong>.</p><p>“He’s one of my favorite actors. I think he did a great job,” the member of the White House coronavirus task force added.</p><p>In the cold open, the Oscar-winning actor wore a silver wig as he ruminated on President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus crisis.</p><p>Following the president’s <strong>much-publicized comments</strong> about UV light and disinfectant injections, Brad-as-Fauci grimaced: “I know I shouldn’t be touching my face, but …”</p><p>After several predictable digs, Pitt, 56, removed his wig and praised America’s health care workers on the front line — and Fauci’s “calm and clarity.”</p><p>Fauci, 79, called Pitt, 56, “classy” for breaking character and thanking the doctors and nurses.</p><p>“I think he showed that he is really a classy guy when at the end he took off his hair and thanked me and all of the health care workers. So not only is he a really great actor, but he is actually a classy person,” he said.</p><p>When asked if any of the remarks Pitt made during the skit had actually crossed his mind, Fauci answered: &#8220;Everything he said on &#8216;SNL&#8217; is what&#8217;s going on.</p><p>“He did a pretty good job of putting everything together,&#8221; he added.</p>]]></content:encoded>
