        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Country music singer Morgan Wallen apologized on Sunday following his weekend arrest on public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges.</p><p>The &#8220;Whiskey Glasses&#8221; singer, 27, was arrested on Saturday night after he was kicked out of Kid Rock&#8217;s Honky Tonk bar in downtown Nashville, <strong>according to local media</strong>.</p><p><span >His bond was $300 for the disorderly conduct charge and $200 for the public intoxication charge, per court records obtained by Page Six on Monday. He is scheduled to appear in court in July.</span></p><p>He <a href="https://twitter.com/MorganWallen/status/1264675853855870979" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">took to Twitter</a> after his release to apologize for his behavior, writing: &#8220;Hey y’all just wanted to clear the air. I went out downtown last night with a few old friends. After a couple bar stops, we were horse-playing with each other. We didn&#8217;t mean any harm, and we want to say sorry to any bar staff or anyone that was affected.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;Thank you to the local authorities for being so professional and doing their job with class,&#8221; he added in another tweet. &#8220;Love y’all.&#8221;</p><p>Wallen was previously charged with DUI in 2016, but the case was dismissed.</p>]]></content:encoded>
