And on Sunday night, Teigen took to Twitter in advance of a piercing appointment to ask the world’s opinion on nose rings.

“Am I too old for a little diamond on my nose? You don’t have to tell me I’m not old! I know I’m not olllllld but you know what I’m saying. Please be honest lol,” she tweeted.

While many were supportive, pointing out that piercings and other forms of body modification have no age limit, some tried to dissuade the star.

“I know it’s an old saying but, you’re somebody’s Mama now. Time for that is done,” one user responded.

Among those encouraging Chrissy to take the plunge was Kerry Washington.

“I got to wear a fake one everyday while shooting @LittleFiresHulu and it was soooooooo hard to say goodbye. I LOVED it,” the actress told Teigen.

Ultimately, the mom of two decided against a nose ring.

However, she posted a video showing off an earful of new studs — including new tragus and cartilage holes — by piercer Brian Keith Thompson from Body Electric Tattoo.

“Ok all done! No nose :(,” Teigen wrote, adding, “Maybe in another life.”
