The star of Jurassic World told Page Six that when he is being attacked, he always thinks of the story of Christ's pain and gets strength from it.

“I sure do,” Pratt said acknowledging the barbs from critics who focus on his beliefs. “But that’s nothing new, that’s nothing new, you know?”

He used scripture to underline his beliefs, saying “If I was of this world, they would love me just like that but as it is, I’ve chosen out of this world. That’s John 15:18 through 20.”

“That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him, too,” he said of Jesus.

Pratt was at a press roundtable at the end of his latest Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3, at the time. He also told Page Six that the battle of Jesus was just one example he used to prove the haters wrong.

He said, "Like a rhino, you put your head down, you keep moving forward, you have thick skin, and if someone gets in your way, you stick your horn right up their asses."

He knows how to deal with people who want to hurt him because of what he believes.

As just one example, Busy Philipps, an actor and sometimes TV host who is on the left, said Pratt is sexist and thinks his wife is one of his things.

Elliot Page, who used to be Ellen Page, also attacked Pratt by saying that he goes to a church that is "well-known for being anti-LGBTQ."

In 2019, the media attacked Pratt for daring to wear a t-shirt with a Gadsden Flag "Don't Tread On Me" snake on it. He was called a "white supremacist" for wearing the image from the American Revolutionary War.

Success is also the best way to get even.

The Pratt-led, non-woke Super Mario Bros came out the first week of April. It was the first film of 2023 to make more than $1 billion, and Guardians has already made more than $280 million in just one weekend.
