Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont is back.

After having to lay off nearly all its 242 workers without severance and insurance amid the pandemic — and raising the wrath of the LA hospitality union Unite Here Local 11 — the West Hollywood hotel is ready to take guests again, Page Six is told.

Following rumors the hotel was even up for sale — which owner André Balazs told us were wholly untrue — the iconic spot is getting back to business.

The Chateau Marmont quickly scaled down its operations at the beginning of the pandemic outbreak but remained open to serve nearly 15 long term guests, we’re told. It also opened its cottages to medical staff at Cedars Sinai.

Now, the hotel is working with medical experts from the U.S. and Europe to implement “the most stringent safety service standards” to ensure the safety of the guests and staff, a source said.

Meanwhile, the Chateau Family Fund, which is designed to help the affected workers and to which we revealed that Balazs contributed $100,000, has now raised nearly $165,000 from names and guests including Ryan Murphy, Sam Rockwell and Patricia Clarkson. An online store is donating profits to staff.

A source said: “The most important thing for all of us is that Chateau Marmont is now (and has always been) open since it opened its doors in 1929. Our philosophy is ‘always open, always a safe haven’ — and that’s taken on such a bigger meaning now than ever before.”
