Even though the Yeezy creator has missed the filing deadlines for independent candidates in several states, Chance pressed fans Monday as to why voters would back Democratic nominee Joe Biden instead of West.

“Are u more pro biden or anti ye and why? I get that you’ll want to reply that you’re just tryna ‘get trump out’ but in this hypothetical scenario where you’re replacing Trump, can someone explain why Joe Biden would be better??” Chance, who has collaborated with West in the past, asked a fan.

When one follower replied, “We are against Kanye running for president,” Chance, 27, responded, “Why tho? Is there a better choice?”

“And yall out here tryna convince me to vote for Biden. Smfh,” Chance also tweeted.

Chance then added in a separate tweet, “I finally got the answer now. I understand. Yall trust Biden more than yall trust Ye. I think I understand why, I just don’t feel the same way.”

West, 43, recently spoke about his presidential platform in a wide-ranging interview with Forbes, telling the outlet he’s running under “the Birthday Party” for 2020, and that he no longer supports President Trump.

“I am taking the red hat off, with this interview,” West said.
