Despite the fact that they scored their first No. 1 hit in the US this year with “Dynamite,” BTS knows that 2020 has been bummer.

And the South Korean boy band is here to soothe all your pandemic woes with “Life Goes On,” the lead track and first single off of the group’s new album “BE,” which dropped early Friday.

On the acoustic-guitar-laced mid-tempo track, BTS — crooning as well as rapping — offers COVID-era comfort in both Korean and English. “Like an echo in the forest … Yeah, life goes on/Like an arrow in the blue sky,” they sing.

BTS also addresses the coronavirus crisis on the more upbeat “Dis-ease”: “Sick and tired/But I don’t wanna mess up/’Cause life goes on/Through the fire … Walk it, walk it, walk it.”

With only eight songs over 28 minutes, “BE” is more of an EP than an album. The LP — featuring lyrics in both Korean and English throughout — starts off slow and sleepy before picking up the pace in the second half.

In the middle there is a “Skit” featuring the conversations that BTS had when they discovered that “Dynamite” had hit No. 1 in the US. That track — the only one completely sung in English — ends “BE” with a bang.

After the boys made their debut performance at the MTV VMAs in August, the K-pop septet will play the American Music Awards for the first time on Sunday. No surprise — they’ll sing “Life Goes On.” And so does BTS, too, apparently.
