Britney Spears’ father has done nothing sinister to starve her lawyer of cash, sources told Page Six.

After her father and conservator Jamie Spears slammed the #FreeBritney movement as a “joke” and “conspiracy theory,” the pop princess’ lawyers were back in court on Wednesday for another hearing over her conservatorship.

According to legal documents, Britney’s lawyer Sam Ingham’s payment had been cut off “without any explanation.”

A judge signed off on a fresh order, which means that Ingham will now earn up to $10,000 a week — $520,000 a year — all of which is paid by Britney’s estate.

While reports claimed that this was a move on Jamie’s behalf, a source close to Jamie told Page Six there was nothing insidious about the non-payment.

The source said, “Jamie could not pay Britney’s lawyer if there wasn’t a valid court order, and the existing order had expired.

“Jamie’s lawyers asked the judge to give an order to pay the lawyer and the judge did just that. Sam was immediately paid $37,000 that he was owed from August 17 to September 5.”

Ingham has made millions of dollars working for Britney while she’s been under a conservatorship for the past 12 years.

Jamie is in charge of Briney’s financial affairs, while a court-appointed conservator named Jodi Montgomery cares for Britney’s day-to-day life.

Our sources claim this is a “voluntary” conservatorship — and she can be freed from it as long as she can prove she can manage her affairs without being subjected to undue influence or fraud.

Britney Spears and father Jamie Spears in 2008BuzzFoto/FilmMagic

The conservatorship was brought in when Britney was at her lowest and had undergone a string of psychiatric holds.

She now undergoes regular evaluations from doctors, which go to the court.

Celebrities including Ruby Rose, Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, Ariel Winter and Rose McGowan have lent their support to the #FreeBritney movement, Instagramming and tweeting about how the singer is allegedly unable to make her own decisions about her career, personal life and health because of the ongoing conservatorship.

However, Page Six is told that Jamie has absolutely no control over anything to do with Britney’s day-to-day life, including when she can see her two sons.

An upset Jamie told The Post in August that the campaign, which posits him as a cruel and opportunistic father keeping the 38-year-old star under his emotional and financial control in a 12-year-long legal conservatorship, “is a joke.”

“All these conspiracy theorists don’t know anything. The world don’t have a clue,” he said. “It’s up to the court of California to decide what’s best for my daughter. It’s no one else’s business.”

Jamie angrily denied long-standing rumors that he or anyone else is skimming money off the top of Britney’s estate.

“I have to report every nickel and dime spent to the court every year,” he said. “How the hell would I steal something?”

The dad said what really bothers him is the aggressiveness of the #FreeBritney supporters. “People are being stalked and targeted with death threats,” he said. “It’s horrible. We don’t want those kinds of fans.

“I love my daughter,” Jamie continued, getting emotional. “I love all my kids. But this is our business. It’s private.”
