DUNEDIN, Fla. — The Yankees dropped another series to a division rival with Wednesday’s 5-4 loss, as Bo Bichette led off the bottom of the ninth with a homer off Chad Green to give the Blue Jays the victory.

It was Bichette’s second home runs of the game and the Yankees dropped to 5-7 with the loss, spoiling a day in which Aaron Judge hit two homers of his own.

Judge provided the Yankees with their first opening-inning run of the season with a one-out homer, his third of the year. He belted another off T.J. Zeuch to lead off the fourth.

Corey Kluber pitched around a single and a walk in a 23-pitch first, but wasn’t as fortunate in the second.

Alejandro Kirk hit a two-run homer with one out to give the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead. Bichette opened the bottom of the third with a home run to right to make it 3-1 before the Yankees came back in the fourth.

Judge led off the fourth inning with his second homer of the game, this one an opposite-field shot to right. Brett Gardner walked and moved to third on Gleyber Torres’ one-out double. Jay Bruce followed with a strikeout, but Gio Urshela delivered a two-out single to left to score both runners and put the Yankees ahead, 4-3.

Kluber ended up allowing three runs in four innings during a 77-pitch outing. Jonathan Loaisiga took over and allowed a two-out hit to right by Cavan Biggio, but the ball went under Judge’s glove and Biggio got all the way to third.

Judge fired the ball all the way to Urshela at third and Biggio inexplicably strayed beyond third and was caught in a rundown. Gary Sanchez tagged him for the final out to keep the Yankees up by a run.

Loaisiga loaded the bases with no one out in the sixth, allowing singles to Lourdes Gurriel Jr. and Rowdy Tellez before he hit Kirk on a 2-2 pitch.

After a visit from pitching coach Matt Blake, Loaisiga got Josh Palacios to ground to first, where Bruce fired home for the first out.

But with Marcus Semien at the plate, Loaisiga threw a wild pitch to score Tellez and tie the game. Loaisiga got Semien to pop to left and Bichette grounded out to end the inning.

Darren O’Day and Justin Wilson tossed scoreless innings before giving way to Green.
