        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Holy COVID, Batman!</p><p>After <strong>an early report on Thursday</strong> said that production on Warner Bros.&#8217; &#8220;The Batman&#8221; had been halted due to a positive coronavirus test from a crew member, the inflicted person has been revealed: the film&#8217;s star, British actor Robert Pattinson.</p><p><strong>Sources told Vanity Fair</strong> that, although Warner Bros. is keeping mum, the lead and current &#8220;Tenet&#8221; star, 34, did indeed test positive for COVID-19.</p><p>Warner Bros. said in a statement to the publication, &#8220;A member of &#8216;The Batman&#8217; production has tested positive for COVID-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.&#8221;</p><p>Reps for Pattinson did not immediately respond to The Post&#8217;s request for comment.</p><p>&#8220;The Batman,&#8221; which is set to be released in October 2021, had resumed shooting in the UK just days prior to this latest interruption.</p>]]></content:encoded>
