On Wednesday, former “Bachelor” contender Fuller, 26, revealed she had parted ways with Iowa-based farmer Soules, 38, who starred in the titular role on the ABC reality series in 2015.

“I am just living my best life,” Fuller said on the “Viall Files” podcast. “We went a separate direction, but I respect him so much, I think he is an amazing man. I just think right now, I’m in such a different place than he is and I’m not moving to Iowa any time soon.

“So, I just want to focus on me. It’s been so much about other people this year that I just really want to hone in on what I want to accomplish, and what I want to get out of this year,” she continued.

Fuller first gained notoriety on Peter Weber’s season of “The Bachelor,” in which she placed third earlier this year. No stranger to controversy, Fuller was accused in January of modeling “White Lives Matter” apparel and later issued an apology. Reports of her 2017 DWI arrest emerged a month later.

In April, a month after the finale of Weber’s season had aired, speculation swirled that Fuller and Soules were an item. Fuller also posted an Instagram photo with the curious caption, “farm life,” in the spring.

Souled joined the Bachelor Nation family in 2014 after appearing on Andi Dorfman’s season of “The Bachelorette.” A year later, he got his turn in the driver’s seat as “The Bachelor” and got engaged to Whitney Bischoff. They called off their engagement in 2015.

Two years later, Soules was arrested after allegedly leaving the scene of a deadly crash in April 2017. He accepted a suspended two-year sentence in August 2019.
