Looking back on her “Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart” experience, Julia Rae says there are there are some moments she wished had unfolded differently.

“It’s been hard to watch everything back because I’m reliving the mistakes I’ve made,” the 27-year-old singer recently told Page Six. “But it’s also been an education.”

As one of the 23 musicians who appeared on the newest “Bachelor” spinoff — in which performers pair up to sing weekly for a starry panel of judges in hopes of achieving musical stardom as a couple — Rae initially teamed with 27-year-old crooner Sheridan Reed and survived last week’s elimination.

On Monday’s episode, however, Rae went on a date with 34-year-old singer Brandon Mills, for whom she had lingering feelings. Following their night out, Rae decided to switch partners, choosing Mills over Reed.

“I honestly had been struggling so much, and I think that’s quite obvious, with figuring who I was connecting with,” Rae explained. “I was a little relieved to be able to figure that out, honestly.”

In response to the shake-up, Rae and Mills’ former partners, Reed and Savannah McKinley, respectively, removed themselves from the Bachelor Mansion. Before leaving, McKinley told Mills she wouldn’t be his “second choice.”

Following the “Bachelor’s” version of musical chairs, fellow competitor Natascha Bessez questioned Mills’ true feelings about the women in his life, McKinley specifically. Bessez later told Rae about her conversation with Mills shortly before the new couple’s first performance together.

“I was crushed, honestly, because I kind of knew in my heart that Natascha was right because of the way Brandon and I were not connecting,” Rae said.

“After everything went down, it was hard to take the stage that night honestly, cause I could feel that was the truth, but I was also still trying to fight for what I thought was a genuine connection. And then it didn’t really turn out to be,” she continued.

The judges, including “Bachelorette” alums Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo, felt a disconnect between Rae and Mills, eliminating them from the competition. And while she has spoken to both Mills and Reed since filming wrapped, she’s hopeful to have Reed as part of her future in some capacity.

“I feel like my tale is one that a lot of women identify with. I was chasing after a guy that didn’t actually see me or see my worth, and when I had an amazing guy in front of me that did,” Rae said.

“I think the biggest lesson I’m learning is that if I want to have a true love, I need to be able to accept the love that I deserve and that I think is the biggest lesson. I wish I had never left Sheridan quite honestly,” she added.

Although this “Bachelor” chapter is closed, Rae hasn’t completely ruled out a trip to “Paradise” in the future.

“Possibly, I don’t know. I think I’d have to consider where my heart is,” Rae said of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
