The 71-year-old former Vogue editor-at-large showed he has no love lost with the magazine’s longtime leader, as he spoke out on Sirius XM’s “Sandyland” with Sandra Bernhard hours after Wintour admitted to “hurtful and intolerant behavior” in regard to racial issues at the publication.

“[Wintour’s] statement came out of the space of white privilege,” he said. “I want to say one thing, Dame Anna Wintour is a colonial broad, she’s a colonial dame, she comes from British, she’s part of an environment of colonialism. She is entitled and I do not think she will ever let anything get in the way of her white privilege.”

Talley also predicted that Wintour, 70, would be “impacted” by the hiring of Samira Nasr, the first female black editor of Harper’s Bazaar, who replaced fashion veteran Glenda Bailey.

“Clearly, that statement comes because this girl [Nasr] is going to run competition rings around her,” he said.

“Her power base has been somewhat affected by the competition of this young African American who is going to be historically the first black female editor of a great, great magazine,” Talley continued. “There are only two great magazines, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.”

Comparing Wintour’s note to NFL boss Roger Goodell’s recent statement regarding the Black Lives Matter movement, Talley continued: “If you’re going to at least make a statement, name what your mistakes were and own up to it dear, no apologies necessary, all we want is respect, that’s all we ever asked for.”

Talley’s falling out with Wintour has been playing out in the public eye following the publication of his memoir, “The Chiffon Trenches.”

In the book, Talley claimed he was brutally dismissed from his job hosting the Met Gala red carpet in favor of a twenty-something YouTuber.

“This was clearly a stone-cold business decision,” Talley wrote. “I had suddenly become too old, too overweight, too uncool, I imagined, for Anna Wintour.”

Speaking with Bernhard, Talley said of his dismissal by Wintour: “Just have the decency to tell me ‘Andre we’re moving on to the right, you are on the left, bye bye, we’ll find something else for you to do. It’s been a good day, a good run.’”
