MacDowell was seen shimmying under the park gate with a tiny pup in tow. “That scrap of a dog goes everywhere with Andie,” an insider said of the pooch, who was described in a 2018 New York Times profile on MacDowell as “a wheezy, nervous, rescued Chihuahua-Boston terrier mix” who “clung to her lap” during the interview.

The source adds that McDowell and the pooch are inseparable — and that, when it’s out of sight, she’s known to yell out, “Ava Gardner! Where are you?!”
