According to the Hollywood Reporter, since the week of March 9, kids ages 2 to 11 are watching 14% more television than they did before the global coronavirus pandemic forced families to hunker down at home. Kids ages 12 to 17 are viewing 18% more, while Nielsen data indicates that adults are watching 5% more.

The week of March 16 had an even sharper jump, with a 14% increase in live TV, a 35% spike in game console use and a 28% increase in connected device usage, or streaming.

With that in mind, here’s a selection of new programming to check out while you’re stuck inside this weekend, with a little bit of something for everyone.

“Be Our Chef,” Disney+
Are you tired of your kids watching “Frozen” for the hundredth time? Want to get them interested in another at-home adventure, like cooking? Then this is the show for you. This culinary competition, which drops Friday, involves five families as they make dishes inspired by characters from films such as “Cinderella” and “Frozen.” (Hey, you can’t avoid it entirely.) Hosted by actress Angela Kinsey (“The Office”), the show features a tasty grand prize: Winning dishes will be available for order at Disney World.

“Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness,” Netflix
If you haven’t caught this wild docuseries yet, which premiered March 20, prepare for your latest true-crime obsession. It follows “Joe Exotic,” the flamboyant owner of a big cat zoo, and it involves tigers, a murder-for-hire plot and cocaine.

“Car Masters: Rust to Riches,” Netflix
After a long wait from Season 1 (which rolled out in 2018), Season 2 of “Car Masters” is finally here, dropping Friday. The reality show follows the team at Gotham Garage as they restore and flip vintage cars.

“Making the Cut,” Amazon
Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn reunite after leaving “Project Runway” in 2017 for this new design competition show that takes 12 international designers to Paris.

“Ozark,” Netflix
Season 3 of “Ozark” is finally here, out Friday. The show follows a Chicago family laundering money for a cartel in the Missouri Ozarks. As usual, Marty (Jason Bateman) and Wendy (Laura Linney) get themselves in hot water.

“Vagrant Queen,” Syfy
Out Friday, this new series set in space follows a former child queen Elida (Adriyan Rae) as she has intergalactic adventures and tries to rescue her mother. Based on a comic of the same name.

“Uncorked,” Netflix
This new film — out Friday — follows a young man as he becomes a sommelier instead of joining the family barbecue business, much to his father’s dismay. It stars Mamoudou Athie, Courtney B. Vance and Niecy Nash.
