The 34-year-old actress — who wed Depp in February 2015 on his private island in the Bahamas — revealed the depressing reality of their nuptials in a statement submitted as part of Depp’s libel suit against The Sun newspaper.

“I tried to smile through it and entertain our guests. But I had never felt more lonely in my life,” Heard said in the statement.

Heard claimed they “fought on our wedding night over his drug use” after Depp repeatedly went missing during the celebration on his Little Hall’s Pond Cay island.

“He had lost weight and he would disappear into the bathroom for long periods during the wedding,” she said.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor then began acting more “possessive” of his new bride on what was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives, Heard said.

“He was even more possessive than usual and he was just not making sense a lot of the time,” Heard said.

Heard, who divorced Depp after 18 months of marriage, took the stand Monday for her first day of testimony in his case against over The Sun’s 2018 article that labeled him a “wife-beater.”

Depp described their volatile relationship over several days of testimony in the case but has vehemently denied all allegations of assault.
