Heard’s close friend Raquel “Rocky” Pennington said at the sensational libel trial that she “became really scared for Amber’s life” after the alleged March 2015 attack, Sky News reported.

Pennington, who lived for free at the time in one of Depp’s Los Angeles penthouse apartments, said that Heard had “deep lacerations from her wrists to her elbows” and the soles of her feet had numerous small cuts.

“She still has scars on her arms from this incident,” Pennington wrote in her witness statement, the TV station reported.

But Pennington, who testified in London’s High Court via video link from Los Angeles, said she’d never actually seen Depp hit Heard.

The “Aquaman” actress, 34, previously described the alleged assaults as a “three-day hostage situation” at their pad down under while Depp filmed “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

He allegedly choked her while naked as she slipped on a wet floor strewn with broken glass.

“I remember thinking he was going to kill me,” she testified.

Depp, 57, admitted they had an explosive fight over Heard’s refusal to sign a postnuptial agreement but denied he got violent. He said it was his “sociopathic” then-wife who had hurled a vodka bottle at him, severing the tip of his finger.

Depp is suing The Sun newspaper over a 2018 article that called him a “wife-beater,” which he has vehemently denied.

Before Pennington took the stand, Heard’s sister wrapped up her second day of testimony.

Whitney Henriquez said she had used cocaine with the Oscar nominee and taught him to use a tampon applicator to snort it.

A photo taken in 2013 by Heard after an argument over his sobriety showed a table with four lines of cocaine, a glass of whiskey and a blue tampon applicator.

“I showed him that,” Henriquez said of the applicator when shown the photo.

Henriquez said Depp was a “kind, beautiful, generous human that we loved” when he was sober, and that Heard was “madly in love” with him.

She said she and Amber grew up in a violent household but her mother, who passed away this year, never left their father.

“We were taught to stay,” she said.
