Kate James told Depp’s libel case in London’s High Court that her former boss had “summoned” her in 2013 so that she could pump her for information on surviving a six-hour rape while traveling in Brazil.

“Ms. Heard referred to a conversation we had about me being violently raped at machete point in Brazil and she used it as her own story,” James told the court Wednesday.

“She referred directly to a violent rape that occurred to me 26 years ago and she twisted it into her own story and she used it for her own use.”

In a witness statement obtained by the Daily Mail, James detailed how she only “narrowly escaped” with her life during the attack when she was 26.

“This attack went on for 5-6 hours and I narrowly escaped with my life. This tortuous experience of such extreme sexual violence has haunted me ever since,” she wrote in the filing, according to the Mail.

Without detailing what parts of Heard’s claims she believes were ripped off from her life story, James said she only made the connection in June when she was sent court documents related to the case.

“As I perused the documents, much to my utter shock and dismay, I discovered that Ms. Heard had in fact stolen my sexual violence conversation with her and twisted it into her own story to benefit herself,” she wrote in the statement.

“This of course caused me extreme distress and outrage that she would dare to attempt to use the mostly harrowing experience of my life as her own narrative,” she wrote.

James said her horrific ordeal made her especially eager to give testimony in the libel case, in which Depp is defending himself against claims that he repeatedly beat his ex-wife.

“I’m a sexual violence survivor and that’s very, very serious to take that stance if you are not one and I am one,” she told the court.

“That’s the reason I’m here, because I take offense,” she said.

James, giving evidence via videolink from LA, said she worked for Heard for three years until she was fired in 2015.

“She was probably the least-known person I have ever worked with in Hollywood, to be honest,” she told the court, saying she now works for “one of the kindest men in Hollywood,” without identifying him.

She told the court how the “Justice League” actress would drink “vast quantities of wine” and then send “incoherent and abusive texts between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on a daily basis.”

James was the final witness on the seventh day of Depp’s libel case against The Sun newspaper over an April 2018 article that said he was a “wife-beater.”

He vehemently denies ever hitting Heard, and instead says his “sociopathic” ex-wife was the violent one in their marriage.
