“I miss my hubby,” Amanda Kloots, wife of coronavirus-stricken Broadway actor Nick Cordero, said in a poignant open letter on Instagram on Friday.

“Dear Nick,” her letter read. “I miss you so much. Sometimes this whole thing doesn’t even feel real. Sometimes it feels you are just away doing a job and you’re going to walk through the door at any moment.”

Cordero, 41, has been hospitalized for two months and had been in a medically induced coma for much of his battle with the deadly virus.

Last month, Cordero had his right leg amputated due to complications. He has since tested negative for the virus twice and has shown signs that he is in the very early stages of waking up.

Kloots, 38, has provided well-wishers and fans with almost daily updates on her Instagram. On Friday, she posted a picture of her husband and son, Elvis, expressing her love for him and her wish that the wakes up soon.

“I miss your gnocchi dinners. I miss watching tv with you at night and always falling asleep on your lap in five minutes. I miss laughing with you. I miss seeing you with Elvis. I can’t wait to have you home. #day37.”

Many broadway colleagues and friends have commented their support for Cordero’s family and hoping for his speedy recovery.

Former “Waitress” costar Jessie Mueller and composer Sarah Bareilles have started a fund to help pay for Cordero’s medical bills.

Kloots posted another photo on Friday night detailing the horrors that the coronavirus brought upon a man who had no pre-existing condition and urging people to social distance and follow the CDC guidelines.
