Ali Wentworth is “on the mend” after revealing that she’s “never been sicker” following her coronavirus diagnosis, her friends tell Page Six.

The comic and author, 55, has been self-isolating in the New York City home she shares with “Good Morning America” anchor George Stephanopoulos, 59, and their two teenage daughters.

Wentworth is staying by herself in one room of the home to protect her family from the virus. A source told us: “Ali’s on the mend. George has been broadcasting from home for ‘GMA’ and ‘This Week,’ so he’s been able to take care of Ali.”

Appearing on camera from her bed, Wentworth told “GMA” viewers last week: “You know I’m feverish if I’m allowing myself to go on national television with no makeup on.”

She said the illness started with tightness in her chest as she was walking her dog. She soon had a high temperature and achy limbs, and added: “It feels like a really, really horrible flu.”
