        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Alex Trebek</strong> has been working on a memoir while he’s been <strong>battling pancreatic cancer. </strong></p><p>“I want people to know a little more about the person they have been cheering on for the past year,” the “Jeopardy!” host writes in an excerpt of “The Answer Is … Reflections of My Life” on publisher Simon &amp; Schuster’s Web site.</p><p>The site says the “book combines illuminating personal anecdotes with Trebek’s thoughts on a range of topics, including marriage, parenthood, education, success, spirituality and philanthropy.”</p><p>It’s set for release July 21, the day before his 80th birthday. He revealed his cancer diagnosis in March of last year.</p>]]></content:encoded>
