Holly Baird, a representative, told The Post on Sunday night that life support was peacefully turned off for Anne Heche.

Heche was declared brain-dead on Friday in California. Once a person is declared brain-dead, they are legally dead, even if their heart is still beating.

The actress, who was best known for her role as Patricia Campbell in NBC's drama "The Brave," never woke up again after a car crash on August 5 in Los Angeles left her with terrible burns.

Her spokesperson said that she was kept on life support so that her organs could be saved and given to other people.

"Donating her organs has always been her choice," her rep told Page Six last week.

A report said that Heche was high on drugs when she crashed her blue Mini Cooper into a house in a suburb of Los Angeles, starting a big fire. Soon after pulling the actress from the wreckage, the LA Police Department got a warrant to test her blood alcohol level.

After she was ruled brain-dead, the police stopped looking into the terrible crash.

At about 5:15 p.m., her spokeswoman, Holly Baird, said that Heche was still on life support.

The actress was known for her parts in the movies "Donnie Brasco," "Wag the Dog," and "I Know What You Did Last Summer."

In the NBC soap opera "Another World," where she played twins, she won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1991.

Atlas, her son with Canadian actor James Tupper, is 13 years old. Homer, her son with ex-husband Coleman Laffoon, is 20 years old. Her mother, Nancy, also lives on after her death.
