Since the coronavirus pandemic halted production on “The Bachelorette,” ABC will be airing a best-of series in its place, Variety reports.

The 10-episode series called “The Bachelor: The Most Unforgettable – Ever!” will air starting June 8. Each three-hour episode will highlight the wildest moments in the franchise’s 18-year history.

Chris Harrison will host “The Most Unforgettable” from the driveway of the Bachelor Mansion in Los Angeles. A “skeleton crew” will work with him, ensuring safety.

“We really wanted to give Bachelor Nation something to watch, and immediately, there was this clamoring and desire from our fans to watch old seasons,” Harrison told the entertainment outlet. Apparently, the idea for the spring show came from Twitter users.

Franchise alumni will be making remote appearances — though this allegedly does not include the most recent Bachelor Peter Weber, whose season just finished airing in early March.

Season 16 of “The Bachelorette,” starring Clare Crawley as the leading lady, was supposed to start filming in March but had to be put on hold because of the pandemic. The season was slated to premiere on May 18.

An ABC exec told Variety they hope “The Bachelorette” can resume filming in mid-summer and would premiere in the fall, though that plan is “tentative” at best.

Traditionally, “Bachelor in Paradise” films in early summer and airs in August, though the spinoff may be in jeopardy this season.

This year, a special spinoff called “The Bachelor Summer Games” in honor of the Olympics was also scheduled to air, though it was nixed by the network. The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo were also put on hold until 2021.
