“The Breakfast Club” co-host Angela Yee is dipping her toe into television.

Yee, newly inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame with co-hosts DJ Envy and Charlamagne tha God, is hosting “Established with Angela Yee,” a new celebrity interview series streaming on Fox Soul (Thursdays at 10 p.m.)

“I hosted a limited series on Fox Soul with Motown and iHeart and it did pretty well,” says Yee, 44. “So James DuBose, the [Fox Soul] head of programming, asked me about doing a one-on-one interview show. I thought it would be a good idea; I’ve obviously done a lot of interviews before and enjoy getting more in-depth and hearing some fun stories and being able to celebrate people.

“So I agreed,” she says. “I came up with the title ‘Established with Angela Yee’ because I really want to celebrate people’s wins and not make it about ‘gotcha’ interviews, but more about milestones and pivotal career moments.”

Yee’s first guest was Method Man — a good fit, since she once worked as an intern for Wu-Tang Clan.

“We share a lot of good stories about my time working there and things you might not have heard anyone ever talk about before,” she says. “It’s not just a typical ‘What are you promoting,’ ‘Let’s talk about this beat,’ ‘Who are you dating?’ It’s a lot more in-depth. We get into some really fun things, and I think that’s how you get to know a person.

Method Man on “Established with Angela Yee.”Fox Soul

“Sometimes those little thing may not seem significant, but they really are,” she says. “I would describe my interviewing style as very conversational…it feels like you’re just kicking it. I always have certain questions in my head and I always make sure I ask. But I try not to be strict about that because if they go and take [the conversation] someplace else then I’ll go there with them.”

She says she has a “wish list” of guests she would like to interview on “Established.”

“Established with Angela Yee.”Fox Soul

“I am trying to get Lil Kim right now, so I hope that works out,” she says. “I’m picking out people who are iconic in this business. I’m also a Brooklyn girl, so that’s important to me. I want to get Missy Elliot really badly. I think a lot of times we do need to pay tribute to those artists that really have paved the way. It’s not even just the artist — it could be entrepreneurs and business people in the industry.”

Yee also owns Juices For Life — a juice bar in Brooklyn (Bed-Stuy) — and says it’s been hectic building her own business empire. But she wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I feel like sometimes I take on a lot, but I put in 100 percent in everything that I do,” she says. “I also love what I do and right now I’m at the point of my life where I can do want I want. I have so many different streams of income coming in so I can pick and choose. I’m just a fan of seizing the moment while I have a platform.

“So why wouldn’t I do everything I want to?”

She says she will address her future at The Breakfast Club (Power 101.5 FM) when her contract comes up for renewal next year.

“The guys have all signed up and are ready to go so they’ll be there,” she says. “It’s always ‘it is what it is’ during contract negotiation time.”
