Maple Leaf receives its support from the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Foundation Grants, Fundraising, State Grants, Tenant rent, Federal Grants, Business donations, Local Civic Groups, and Individual donations. Maple Leaf operates under a five-year contract with the Geauga County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Maple Leaf owns 21 homes and one former assisted living facility all in Geauga County, Ohio. Maple Leaf has over 65 people who have special needs from northeastern Ohio living in homes throughout our community. Maple Leaf is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit housing corporation.
What is Maple Leaf community residences?
My “why” path has led me to Maple Leaf Community Residences. Maple Leaf Community Residences Inc. (MLCR) was created out of a housing needs assessment through the State of Ohio for people with developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit corporation providing appropriate homes that are safe and affordable.
