Style icon! After more than two decades in show business, Angelina Jolie has made a name for herself as an actor, producer, humanitarian and, of course, a red carpet chameleon.

Whether the Academy Award-winner is rocking a menswear-inspired tux, a full-length ball gown or showing some leg (as she most infamously did at the 2012 Oscars), Angie keeps things simple, sexy and never fails to bring her signature edge to the red carpet.

Her hair and makeup are always utterly glam too. She is the queen of the bouncy blowout — often sporting bombshell curls and sophisticated updos, while her go-to crimson pout is always on point.

Her early red carpet days are marked by Elvira-inspired goth looks, including the black long-sleeved Versace gown she wore to the 2000 Academy Awards.

The Salt actress famously made a style statement the following year, wearing then-husband Billy Bob Thornton’s blood in a vial around her neck for the Original Sin premiere.

In the coming years, Jolie played with color, wearing a canary yellow St. John gown to the Ocean’s Thirteen premiere in 2007, a flowing green Max Azria Atelier number at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 and a sequin emerald dress by Atelier Versace at the 2011 Golden Globes.

But 2012 is the year she formally stepped into her role as a style icon. The star made the entrance of all entrances at the Oscars, rocking a black strapless Versace gown. And Jolie, who repeatedly popped her leg out, made sure nobody missed that thigh-high slit!

She went through a champagne phase in 2014 and 2015, wearing a sparkly Elie Saab number to Academy Awards and a beaded column dress to the AFI Festival.

Jolie also stunned in a silky silver Jenny Packham gown at the 2017 Oscars, but, for the most part, the star sticks to black — and she works it!

In 2019, she wore a strapless sequin Versace dress to the European premiere of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in Italy. But, when the actress walked the red carpet later that month in London, she actually went with white.

Jolie stunned a white Ralph & Russo number, which featured gold piping around the bustier and metallic embellishments along the cape.

As we eagerly await Jolie’s next red carpet appearance, let’s take a look back at some of her best red carpet style moments over the years. Keep scrolling to see our favorite looks of all time!

Taylor Swift isn’t only a music legend, but she’s cemented herself as a total style icon! So we’re taking a look back at her incredible red carpet fashion evolution.

From the time she was a young country singer, the performer has been serving up killer looks. However, it’s safe to say her sartorial sense has changed quite a bit from the spiral-curled teen who wore opera gloves to an awards show. She’s traded in the cowboy boots for higher fashion. After all, she isn’t a kid anymore!

Instead of girlie tulle gowns, we can expect Swift to rock something along the edgier (and sexier) side. Think: minidresses and short shorts that show off her crazy toned limbs.

Though there are many differences between her 2006 style and that of 2019, one thing has remained the same: she loves a glitzy moment. The songstress has not changed her draw towards sparkles and sequins. She’s just wearing them in a bit chicer of a manner these days.

Keep scrolling to see her entire style evolution.

It seems like just about every week Kylie Jenner steps out in a new shade of blonde or posts a selfie in a bright-colored wig. The youngest Jenner sister just loves changing up her hair. And, honestly, we are so here for it. Her boldness as a young woman willing to experiment is empowering and beautiful.

“I first dyed my hair when I was 16,” she wrote on her website back in 2015. “I dyed it blue and I never even asked my mom. After that, I’ve just had this addiction to changing my hair. It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way.”

However, she also noted that since she changes he locks up so much, they have undergone a lot of damage. That’s why she turns to her wig guru Tokyo Stylez to keep her stand’s healthy without compromising her playful style. “I’ve had to find ways to really try and take care of it and give it a rest,” she wrote. “I discovered this amazing wig guy, Tokyo, and together we create wigs. Wigs are just SO much easier because I change my mind so much and this way I’m not damaging my hair.”
