On MTV’s The Challenge, finding a romance is very likely — but making it last is not. Many didn’t think Paulie Calafiore and Cara Maria Sorbello would create a real bond after meeting on Final Reckoning in 2018, but they proved others wrong. The duo went on to compete alongside each other on War of the Worlds later that year and War of the Worlds 2 in 2019.

Then they hit pause on filming reaity TV to focus on themselves both individually and as a couple and later decided to move in together in Montana.

“You can’t put a price tag on happiness. For so long, I was, like, you know the money is so good. I can’t say no. I needed a little break for my own sanity and my own happiness, just finding what makes me me again and get my light back,” she explained to Us Weekly exclusively following the War of the Worlds 2 finale in December 2019. “I’m freakin’ fantastic, so I’m gonna have a little break so they can make someone else the bad guy this next season because I’m not going to be on it!”

“Here we are today, after everything we have been through, still together — and only we know what that means,” he added.

Although Sorbello and Calafiore are a more recent couple, some have lasted the test of time. Sean Duffy and Rachel Campos met while filming the first-ever season of The Challenge in 1998, then titled Road Rules: All Stars.

He had previously appeared on The Real World: Boston while she had starred on The Real World: San Francisco. The pair went on to marry in 1999 and have nine children. Their ninth child was born in 2019 with a heart defect.

“She was born last week, one month before her due date. She is doing great, though still in the NICU until she learns to eat on her own. I’m home now, trying to recover from my first C-section (hats off to all the c-section moms out there — I had no idea!) and working hard with my breast pump to keep up with her growing appetite,” Campos wrote via Facebook at the time. “When we visit with her at the hospital, the kids fight over who can hold her — I don’t blame them! She’s the sweetest, most perfect angel we have ever seen.”

Stars at the Super Bowl Through the Years 

“That was one of the calls where you go, ‘Oh, this is going to be fun.’ Before I even saw what they had in mind, my little team said, ‘It’s a Tide commercial.’ I went, ‘Let’s do it.’ It’s such a crazy concept. It was really unusual to do,” the Seinfeld alum, 61, exclusively told Us Weekly.

Alexander stars in the 60-second ad as a teen’s hoodie, which gets dirtied up and thrown around. The actor took “hundreds and hundreds of photographs making faces” for the computer-generated imagery to promote the new Tide Hygienic Clean detergent.

“Not since I was 6 did I get to make a living making faces. It was really the first time since the pandemic that I’ve been back in front of a film crew. So it was kind of thrilling. I mean, a little nervous making because you’re going, ‘Oh, I don’t want to get sick.’ But it was thrilling to be back in show business for a day. It was very comforting. The whole thing has been great and they did a fantastic job. I love the way the spot came out,” he added. “And then the car location was blocks from my house. When I take my daily walk, I walk by where we shot the car scene.”

The Pretty Woman star likened his many expressions to 1933’s King Kong. “Your head had to stay totally still so you’re really just moving facial muscles,” he explained. “[It’s] what Fay Wray must have been like when she was making King Kong, because the director would be like, ‘You see the monkey, you’re horrified. Oh my God, you’re disgusted. You’re nauseated. You’re in love.’ And just yelling out ideas of situations and emotions and you’re just making faces. I left there going, ‘I can’t believe this is how a 60-year-old man makes a living. This is kind of silly.’”

Alexander’s commercial may be featured during Super Bowl LV, but he’s not much of a football fan. “I don’t say that with any pride,” he told Us. ”My uncle used to direct all the New York team’s television games. So the Mets, the Knicks, and the Rangers. He directed all the television games. And as a kid, I used to go to tons of those games. I was always following those teams. Somehow by the time I became a young teenager, I started doing theater and going, ‘I have a different affection. I suck at sports. I am going to go on the stage and sing and tap dance.’ Somehow, I stopped watching and I never came back. Even though my career has been so closely associated with sports sometimes, I’m a moron. I mean, the other day somebody said to me, ‘Who do you like for this year Super Bowl?’ And I went ‘Well, who’s playing?’”

He’ll still be watching the Kansas City Chiefs face-off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, however. “I actually love watching the Super Bowl the way I love watching the World Series,” he continued. “It doesn’t matter that I don’t follow the sports. It’s such a big event and it is exciting. And the Super Bowl in particular — between the halftime show and this parade of top-quality creative commercials — it’s just a thrill to watch it.”

“Surprise!” the singer, 26, captioned her Wednesday, January 26, Instagram baby bump debut.

In the social media upload, the Grammy nominee showed her bare stomach in a crochet top and unbuttoned denim jeans.

In April 2018, the New Jersey native opened up about freezing her eggs amid her struggles with endometriosis. “Doing ovarian reserve is important for me, because I’m fortunate enough to have that as an option, and I need to be aggressive about protecting my fertility [and] about protecting myself,” Halsey said during an appearance on The Doctors.

She added at the time: “Reproductive illness is so frustrating because it can really make you feel like less of a woman. You don’t feel sexy, you don’t feel proud, and you don’t feel like there’s much hope, so taking these measures to make sure that I get to have a hopefully bright future and achieve the things that I want to achieve by doing the ovarian reserve is really important.”

Halsey previously suffered a miscarriage just moments ahead of a 2015 performance, opening up about the experience to Rolling Stone the following year.

“I’m like, ‘I have to cancel this show!” the “Bad at Love” singer said in the July 2016 interview. “And everyone’s kind of like, ‘Well, it’s Vevo LIFT, and it’s three-million impressions, so … no one knew what do to. It’s the angriest performance that I’ve ever done in my life. That was the moment of my life where I thought to myself, ‘I don’t feel like a f–king human being anymore.’ This thing, this music, Halsey, whatever it is that I’m doing, took precedence and priority over every decision that I made regarding this entire situation from the moment I found out until the moment it went wrong. I walked offstage and went into the parking lot and just start throwing up.”

Halsey “beat [her]self up” over the pregnancy loss at the time, explaining, “I wasn’t drinking. I wasn’t doing drugs. I was f–king overworked — in the hospital every couple of weeks because I was dehydrated, needing bags of IVs brought to my greenroom. I was anemic, I was fainting. My body just broke the f–k down.”

The songwriter was spotted out and about with Aydin in October 2020. Prior to her relationship with the screenwriter, she was romantically linked to singer Yungblud and actor Evan Peters. Halsey dated G-Eazy on and off from 2017 to 2018.

While promoting daughter Max’s new podcast, “I’ll Give It to You Straightish,” the reality TV alum, 52, spoke to Us Weekly about former costar Kelly Dodd, who recently came under fire for comments she made about COVID-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement.

“I mean, you know, cancel culture is such a tricky thing because when there’s gray area it’s hard ’cause [it] can ruin people’s lives and careers and whatnot. Having said that, and having not seen exactly what was said, I’ll tell you this: a leopard doesn’t change its spots, right?,” Dubrow shared. ” People show you who they are. And at some point, you have to listen.”

The That’s Life alum acknowledged that it’s possible for people to change but noted that it doesn’t always happen. “Hopefully, people do grow and evolve but after years and years of a pattern, I think sometimes you get to the point where you go, ‘Yeah, that’s the path you’re on. That’s not changing,'” Dubrow said.

She and the Positive Beverage cofounder have a long history of drama. The feud dates back to Dubrow’s time on the show. Dodd, 45, joined the show in 2016 for season 11. Throughout that season, the pair butted heads repeatedly. After filming wrapped, Dubrow announced her decision to go her separate way and the feud appeared to die down. That is, until 2018 when Dodd filmed Dubrow talking to a friend outside a gym without her knowledge.

“Heather Dubrow has been sitting there, I’m trying to avoid her at all costs,” Dodd could be heard saying in the clip. “Trying to get in my workout and she won’t leave the area. Stop talking! I need to get my workout in and I don’t wanna run into you.”

After the incident, Dubrow was asked in an Entertainment Tonight interview if she’d consider returning to RHOC. “Well, I always say ‘never say never,’ because, you know, if in two years I was back on the show, I don’t want to be like, ‘Well, they’re going in a different direction and I really like the way it’s going,'” she revealed in the 2018 interview. “You never know what life is gonna bring you, but I feel like I’m in a good spot [off the show].”

Asked, in the same interview, if she’d give it more consideration if Dodd wasn’t part of the Bravo reality series’ cast anymore, she smiled and said, “Yeah.” Tamra Judge, another RHOC alum, chimed in, “I feel like secretly filming might be something that happens on the show,” in a nod to the 2018 incident with Dodd and Dubrow at the gym.

Although Dubrow still catches wind of some of the drama her former costars are involved in, she doesn’t watch the show anymore. Speaking with Us on the “Getting Real With the Real Housewives” podcast in July 2020, Dubrow said, “You know what? I haven’t watched the show since I left.” It’s not specifically because of her exit, though.

“I didn’t watch before, and I haven’t watched since I’ve left. I keep up with a bunch of the girls, I’ve run into some of them, but not the day-to-day,” she told Us at the time.

The soap star was linked to Matthew Morrison when she first started working in Hollywood. The pair got engaged in 2007, but called it quits before walking down the aisle. Stause threw shade at the Glee star during season 1 of Selling Sunset.

“If I ended up with the person I was with at 25, I would want to kill myself,” she told Netflix cameras. “And yeah, you can Google that. You were a dick! Sorry!”

Stause also dated Graham Bunn in her 20s. During a break in their on-again, off-again relationship, she was nearly offered the role of The Bachelorette in 2008. As a result, Bunn applied for season 4 of ABC series to win Stause back, but later learned that the network gave DeAnna Pappas the gig.

While Stause and Bunn reunited after he was eliminated by Pappas, they split for good in 2009. She started dating future husband Hartley in 2013.

“We met up at a concert and talked all night. I drove her home and called the next day. We haven’t been apart since. I knew right away [and] was like, ‘Oh boy, here we go,’” The realtor recalled of meeting Hartley before their nuptials. “The next day I texted my friend: ‘I found him.’”

After four years together, Stause and Hartley wed in 2017. Less than three years later, he filed for divorce in November 2019. The real estate agent claimed on Selling Sunset that she was “blindsided” by their split, claiming she learned he took legal action via text message.

While her marriage was over, Stause’s star rose with the success of the Netflix reality series. She subsequently landed a spot on season 29 of Dancing With the Stars — and found herself tangled up in rumors about partner Gleb Savchenko’s divorce from wife Elena Samodanova. While Samodanova accused Savchenko of having “multiple affairs,” he and Stause both denied that their relationship was inappropriate.

“I feel like it really is annoying because it’s one of those things where, you know, unfortunately, the timing of what he’s going through personally, people want to make it into something it’s not. So, we’re just friends,” she said on E!’s Daily Pop in November 2020. “I get it. I’ve been on soaps. You have to have that kind of stuff sometimes when you’re on the dance floor. People misinterpret that.”

Stause has since been linked to another DWTS dancer: Keo Motsepe.

In March 2019, the Bring the Funny judge exclusively told Us Weekly about her on-brand birthday plans. “She’s so into princesses right now,” the Cravings author said at the time. “She’s very into Disney movies. I think we might do that, but she’s not gonna know until we’re there. I think we’re just gonna keep it small, keep it family, and make her Disney dreams come true. But it won’t even be on the day.”

Sure enough, the following month, Luna rocked a Princess Aurora gown while exploring Disneyland with her parents, who also share son Miles.

“Luna had a Disneyland birthday,” the Voice coach wrote via Instagram at the time. “(As far as she knows her birthday is today. Don’t tell her it’s Sunday please. Daddy has to work on Sunday. Thank you).”

As for Jenner, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and Travis Scott’s daughter dressed as a princess while at an October 2020 pumpkin painting party with her cousins, complete with a tiara.
