Rowling Slams Trans Radicals, Telling Them to 'Stop Stalking and Threatening Us' and 'Prove You Aren't a Threat to Women.']]> Rowling said Monday that her “family’s address was posted on Twitter by three activist actors who took pictures of themselves in front of our house, carefully positioning themselves to ensure that our address was visible.”

The author — who has relentlessly been attacked by transgender activists for acknowledging biological facts regarding sex — also thanked Scotland police “for their support and assistance in this matter,” and implored anyone who posted the image of her home with the address visible to delete it.

“I implore those people who retweeted the image with the address still visible, even if they did so in condemnation of these people’s actions, to delete it,” Rowling wrote.

The author went on to list several feminist activists and other women who have been under attack after speaking out against transgender issues invading women’s rights.

“Over the last few years I’ve watched, appalled, as women like Allison Bailey, Raquel Sanchez, Marion Miller, Rosie Duffield, Joanna Cherry, Julie Bindel, Rosa Freedman, Kathleen Stock and many, many others, including women who have no public profile,” she wrote.

Rowling added that the women who contacted her to relate their experiences “have been subject to campaigns of intimidation which range from being hounded on social media, the targeting of their employers, all the way up to doxing and direct threats of violence, including rape.”

“None of these women are protected in the way I am,” she said. “They and their families have been put into a state of fear and distress for no other reason than that they refuse to uncritically accept that the socio-political concept of gender identity should replace that of sex.”

“I have to assume that @IAmGeorgiaFrost, @hollywstars and @Richard_Energy_ thought doxxing me would intimidate me out of speaking up for women’s sex-based rights. They should have reflected on the fact that,” Rowling added.

The author then revealed that she has “received so many death threats I could paper the house with them.”

“Perhaps — and I’m just throwing this out there — the best way to prove your movement isn’t a threat to women, is to stop stalking, harassing and threatening us,” Rowling suggested.

While Rowling herself is an ardent liberal and a self-professed feminist, she has nonetheless been under attack by radical left-wing and transgender activists ever since suggesting last year that only women can menstruate.

SAND, the popular game's token, blew heads (pun intended) by registering a remarkable 319 percent increase in the last seven days.

While no single cause can be identified as the catalyst, one reason in particular does seem to strike a bell. It's worth noting that the project's Series B funding, led by the Softbank Vision Fund 2, brought in more than $93 million.

As a result of the aforementioned increase, both network and investment figures for the altcoin reached previously unimaginable heights. To begin with, the number of active addresses increased by 798 percent to 4.68k, a new high. This proved to be a wise decision, as investor profitability reached 100%, with no holder losing money.

Furthermore, after being essentially inert for months, SAND's market value has finally began to rise. In fact, it was at an all-time high at the time of writing.

The most fascinating detail is that whales went completely insane during the rally, selling nearly $301 million worth of sand.

Surprisingly, this resulted in a 58,919.6 percent increase in whale trades.

Is this all the token has to offer?

The coin, which is dominated by whales who own 85 percent of total supply, does not yet have a strong investor base. In fact, only 34,000 addresses have any sort of balance.

Furthermore, all of these increases appeared to be transient, since the average of all indicators appeared to be a single-digit percentage of their press-time values.

Even in terms of cost, the situation has been difficult. The altcoin hasn't been able to break through the $1 barrier since April. While the coin did briefly breach the barrier, it quickly returned to its previous level before climbing again. This meant that the upswing had not been very stable.

A whale-centric token is usually a red flag, don't forget that. When no-movement-price tokens, such as SAND, rise in an unusual way, they tend to collapse soon.

Despite complaints about high gas fees, Ether miners earned more than $3 billion more than Bitcoin miners in 2021. According to Arcane Research's report,

“Ether miners have earned $17 billion in 2021, while the Bitcoin miners have earned $13.6 billion.”

What does this look like on a daily basis, we might wonder? While Bitcoin miners earned an average of $45 million per day, Ether miners earned $56 million. The report also stated that the volatility of Ether mining was greater than that of Bitcoin. Furthermore, Arcane Research attributed the Ether miners' profit to Ethereum's "abnormally high transaction fees."

Furthermore, the report revealed,

“Luckily for the ether miners, activity on Ethereum has been high the whole year and has increased lately, causing their revenues to skyrocket. Transaction fees on the Bitcoin network have stayed abnormally low since the middle of the summer. Because of this, fees only consist around 1% of Bitcoin mining revenues now, compared to 53% for ether miners.”

Imagining Ethereum

A lot of hopes are riding on the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, even as altcoins compete to be the next "Ethereum killer."

Messari researcher Ryan Watkins, for example, claimed that Ethereum was the "heart of the crypto economy."

Furthermore, Ethereum is becoming more active in the DeFi space, with a 1,000% increase in total value locked and a significant increase in total DEX volumes, stablecoin issuance, Bitcoin on Ethereum, and OpenSea sales.

However, for the past seven days, Ethereum has seen more Ether burned than mined. Gas prices must exceed 150 gwei to balance this out.

An analyst's viewpoint

Glassnode's lead on-chain analyst "Checkmate" was asked to comment on Ethereum's problem during the Crypto Conversation podcast. He stated,

“They try to do too many things at once…Unfortunately they’ve put stakeholders – people who already own the coin – and network users at odds. I think they’ve bit off more than they can chew and I think it’s going to come back to bite them.”

However, gaming tokens have been able to maintain their near-high levels to some extent. At the time of writing, the top ten tokens in this range had positive weekly returns and had increased by 2 percent -101 percent over the course of the window.

The precipitating factors

Until recently, the majority of the aforementioned coins strictly followed the broader market trend. However, a couple of other factors are now to blame for their dramatic increase.

Initially, credit should be given to the tokens' improving metrics. Let's look at the state of four popular game tokens – AXIE, SAND, VRA, and ENJ – to get a sense of the overall sentiment.

Deposit transactions for the first three coins, for example, have recently been more inclined toward their respective low sides. This metric displays the total amount of incoming and outgoing transactions involving token deposit addresses on a daily basis. Spikes typically signal an increase in short-term sell pressure and vice versa.

With this current plateaued state in mind, it can be asserted that HOLDERS would not sell at this point.

Enjin Coin's indicators have also begun to show bullish signs. Consider the price DAA divergence as an example. As can be seen in Santiment's chart below, this metric has begun to project a bullish signal since October 25.

The Price-Data model monitors the relationship between the coin's price and the number of daily active addresses that interact with the coin. When the DAA Divergence increases in tandem with the price, a buy signal is displayed. When the number of active addresses falls during a price increase phase, selling pressure is induced.

ENJ beginning its bullish streak on the chart indicates that the active addresses are in good health. In effect, the environment has been relatively favorable for ENJ's rally to continue.

The MVRV ratio

Since the beginning of October, the MVRV ratio for all four tokens has also been increasing. This means that at this point in the market, investors are earning more than usual.

'Steaming' ascent

It's strange to see all of the gaming tokens rallying at the same time that BTC and the broader market are trading in the red, isn't it? At this point, it's worth noting that Steam, a popular digital gaming platform, has recently banned all games that include crypto/NFT exchanges. People in the game-fi industry obviously did not take the news well.

To a large extent, the price movements of these tokens appear to be a reaction to Steam's ban on blockchain-based games. Nothing can be said with certainty, but the Steam factor cannot be ruled out.

Despite the fact that these tokens are rallying at the moment, they could succumb to the broader market trend at any time. Nonetheless, given the healthy state of the metrics, these coins should be able to recover faster than the others.

Gaga graced the VMAs red carpet for the very first time in 2009 -- one year after the release of her debut album, "The Fame" -- wearing a black lace Jean Paul Gaultier gown paired with a feathered Keko Hainswheeler neckpiece and "Phantom Of the Opera"-esque gold mask.

Gaga then burst into "Applause," baring it all in a teeny-tiny seashell bikini and waist-length, mermaid-worthy waves.

And the 2020 VMAs might as well have been called the GMAs. Gaga reigned supreme over the entire evening, taking home four Moon People -- along with MTV's first-ever Tricon Award -- and performing a "Chromatica" medley onstage. She also made quite the splash on the red carpet, showing up in an futuristic silver Area ensemble accessorized with a space helmet.

"I was wearing face shields before it was a thing," Gaga quipped on Instagram of her pandemic-appropriate headgear.
