Sep 30, 2021 · It did it about 12pm pst today for about 30 minutes and it just started doing it again just now at 8pm pst. I have a AMD 5950x RTX 3060ti. I really hope the dev’s see this and look in to it because it is an extremely strange bug it seems like. I ran speed tests and tested out another game and did not have any input latency at all.

The input jitter could probably be reduced to a negligible level by building a device to both trigger the logic analyzer and press a key on the keyboard under test at the same time. Average latency measurements would also get better with such a setup (because it would be easier to run a large number of measurements).

Oct 02, 2021 · Simply put, it’s when there’s a delay between your audio or MIDI input and the output of your headphones or speakers. For example, if you’re asking yourself “Why does my microphone have a delay?”, that would be latency. Not only does this affect instruments like guitars and microphones, but latency also affects MIDI controllers, as well.

Oct 07, 2019 · Ping will not, for instance, help you fix any latency problems you may identify, nor does it let you check multiple network paths with a single command. The good news: there are several latency test programs (some of which are listed below), and many offer a more sophisticated set of ping-based tools. These solutions can, among other things ...

Latency. You may be able to decrease initial "startup" latency by specifing that I-frames come "more frequently" (or basically always, in the case of x264's zerolatency setting), though this can increase frame size and decrease quality, see here for some more background. Basically for typical x264 streams, it inserts an I-frame every 250 frames.

Jun 02, 2017 · This is a full button-to-pixels input lag measurement, catching input lag variances (min/max/avg) of absolutely everything in the entire, whole chain, display included -- and it is quite clear that 240 Hz has far less lag variances (min/max/avg) versus 60 Hz -- by a massive margin, assuming you have the GPU to keep up the frame rates.

Dec 21, 2015 · Over the next few weeks, I’ll be doing a series of blog posts on how to improve your frames per second (FPS) from your webcam using Python, OpenCV, and threading.. Using threading to handle I/O-heavy tasks (such as reading frames from a camera sensor) is a programming model that has existed for decades.
