We’ve all, at some point complained about how our job is way too hard and too shitty, all the while meaning it metaphorically, of course. Well, thank the lord for metaphors, because for some people, their job can be shitty, quite literally.
Take, for instance, Dr Tom who is a vet. Now you might think of his job as one dealing with cute cuddly animals and getting to pet as many dogs and cats as he wants, but it’s not just that.
According to LADbible, one fine day, he was sent to treat constipated elephant Lana at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand. Long story short, the elephant was relieved, but Dr Tom, not so much.
Once relieved, Lana’s poo bombarded the poor doctor’s face, and rest assured, nothing prepares you for shit like that.
In the video, you can see that he is accompanied by one other person, and - credit where it is due - they too get a good chunk of poo from the elephant's butt. Dr Tom, however, seemingly gets the worst of it.

If you ask your vet, they will actually tell you many such stories - of being bitten, scratched, pooped and peed on by animals. It sort of comes with their job.
